To coincide with the approach to Christmas, the Newport-Pittwater Business Community is launching its annual event The Newport Sculpture Trail on November 12th.

This year, revealing the wonderful array of works produced by local artists, the sculptures will be exhibited in some of the leading business spaces in the Newport shopping village. The Sculpture Trail launch date seamlessly coincides with the Nippers Newport and Opens Water Carnival at Newport’s historic Surf Life Saving Club and promises to kick off the summer festivities in Newport in the lead up to Christmas.

The Newport Sculpture Trail runs until the 27th November, coinciding with the Newport Beach Festival, popularly referred to as “Market Day”.

Also launching this year will be a new not-for-profit event in the shape of the inauguralPantomimes for Peace – “Aladdin” performed by the dramatists big and small from local education business Smarty Pants Drama.

This fundraiser pantomime will be held at the SLSC on Saturday December 10th. Ticket sales for the event will be $20.00 on the door for adults, children free.

These events are set to be big crowd-pleasers and will provide fabulous market penetration opportunities for those businesses participating in or supporting the events.
